Sittin in a GK12 meeting.  Wireless internet...hot stuff.

Crazy weekend.  Went to an Excel thing on Friday-Saturday, then my band had a (really bad) show on Saturday night.  It just wasn't a good booking, frankly.  But whatever...any news is good news.

Sung at 9:15 and 11 on Sunday, lunch at Dos, then took a sweet sweet nap.  I have got to take more naps.  I don't know when naps stopped happening in my life.

My lawn desperately needs to be mowed.  My evening is cleared tonight, so i think that might happen.  Except...it's been raining and everything is soaked.  So um maybe not.  Could be a halflife night.  whoot!

getting fat.  not-whoot!  I need to start going back to the gym.  I remember when my xanga consisted almost entirely of entries like

"went to the gym today.  Good workout.  Going to the monkey tonight. good times."

Can't maintain anything forever, I guess.

Band's got a week off in terms of shows, but I'm not sure how I"ll be able to do with rehearsal.  We've got an all-day GK12 meeting on Saturday, and I'm trying to have my CFC buds over for dinner before some of them leave. 

Maybe one of our patented shortstack weekday practices will be all we need.

I'm not agreeing to play any more frat parties, that's for sure!

Not a bad day...got up a little late.  Took care of some bookkeeping stuff at work, and mostly prepared for my lesson tomorrow.  I'm doing a think on fuel cells, actually, and I'm still working on it.  Ok, I haven't been working on it all that much.  I need to get myself in gear b/c I'm pretty tired and would like to get to bed sometime soon.

Obviously didn't go to the Hub today.  Working from home.

Had band practice around 7:30, but it was pretty short.  We didn't get that much done - just kinda fooled around and practiced the one song I wrote.  Didn't get to C-notes....can't really do much w 1 guitar. 

Again, we've got a show this Saturday.  I'm just going to put everyone I know on the guestlist, which will get you in for free.  If you don't go, then you don't go!  easy peezy.

Been listening to some good music lately. Really need to update my music header.

Not much else to say.  Gotta get back to work.  Have a good one peoples.

Busy weekend.  Baptism went well.  I didn't erupt into flames, which means I'm not the antichrist.  That's a relief.

Lots of singing on Sunday too, which was a little hectic b/c I went to bed kinda late Saturday night due to some hassle with my testimony.  Still, everything went well.  Had Arbys for lunch.  that ruled.  I've become a huge fan of Arby's Reuben sandwich.  It's kind of expensive, but crazybus good.

Had a meeting today that I was a little anxious about, but it went well, much to my relief.

We've got a show this Saturday, at a frat party.  We can get people in, though, and there's no cover.  It's BYOB, though.  Let me know, cause it should be pretty cool...hopefulyly we'll have a new song!  I think we're practicing this Thursday, but we'll see if that works out w/ the diamante. 

oH crap...speaking of which, I need to go pick up the 4-track from him.  man it's been a crazy waterday trying to do the handoff of that thing.  too many meetings and other such nonsense.

How's it been going here?  I haven't been blogging much, have I?  I'm sorry about that.  I just...i dunno.  don't have much to say these days.  I'm pretty happy.  I'm doing well.  Work is kinda eh, but I can't complain.  I do wish MST would post more, though.  I think I'm his #1 stalker.  Also, update your webpage with more pics, lovemachine!

No time for a full update right now, even though there's tons to say.  Just wanted to note that if anyone wanted to come see me get baptised tomorrow at CFC's Easter service, it's at 12:30 in FOELLINGER HALL, not Lincoln like I'd originally thought.  When all this is done, I'll probably post my testimony, which will explain some of all this...crazyness

LONG day.  Good band practice. Awesome show last night.  Got my taxes done.  Got my car registered.  Still no IL license.  one thing at a time.

Gotta sing at UAG tomorrow at 8 and 9:30 services before heading to CFC for the Baptism service.  Sound-check at 7:15.  Aiya.

Ok that was a pretty good, if not matter-of-fact, update.

Getting my free dental checkup today from one of the hygenists in my SG.  It's at Parkland...hopefully I don't have anything funny going on.  I feel good, anyway.

My band's got a show tomorrow night, at IMC (the old post office in Urbana), and it starts at 7.  We probably won't be on till way later, though.  Come by if you're not busy with Good Friday. 

I HAVE to do my taxes either today or tomorrow.  Saturday I've got the morning planned to finally take care of all the car stuff I've been holding off on (license, registration, etc etc).  I still need to sell my other car too...aiya.

Was on the GK12 interview panel yesterday (and Friday).  GK12 is the teaching program I'm involved in.  It was interesting yo be on the other side of the "table."

The last few days have been really crazy with scheduling.  Until last night, I'd only been getting 2-3 horus of sleep, since last Friday night.  Last night I did a little better.  Got back from CUCC at about 3:30,. but I slept till 11 this morning.  It isn't that much, but I feel a lot better.

The Yeah Yeah Yeah's are playing in Chicago tomorrow night.  I'm so sad I can't go (Johnnyork has a show).  Although, if we didn't have the show, I'd be at UAG, so, either way, it wouldn't have happened.

Ok that's it...gotta go to my appointment!
