Ok...crazy story.  Totally crazy.  So, I use this online service called AllOfMP3.com to buy my music.  Ok, yeah the legality is a little sketchy - it's based in Russia and they have really fishy copyright laws.  And it's probably run by the mob.  Anyway, you pay by the megabyte ($0.02/MB), so most albums come out to about $1.  And they're copy-protection-free.  And you can choose your encoding rate, which can make them cheaper or more expensive.  I go with 160kbps.

ANYWAY....so yeah I hadn't been on in a few days, but last time I was there, everything was normal.  Bought the Margot album, good times.

About a week ago, I started reading an old Rolling Stone, from about 2 years ago, which lists the 500 greatest albums as voted on by, um, readers I think.  Yeah, it lists all 500 of them with a little blurb (or big blurb, in some cases) for ever one.  So, needless to say, it's a really thick issue.  So, I've been going through it slowly.  Most of the top 50 are older albums, and I was taking note of some albums I wanted to get.

So, fast forward to today.  I log in to AllOfMP3.com and, guess what new section they have!  The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time! You click it, and band, there they are, 1-500, with links to their normal location in allofmp3.com.  It doesn't actually say Rolling Stone's 500 greatest albums, but it's the list.  no doubt.

The crazy thing is that this wasn't there like a week ago, and this issue I've been reading is 2 years old, so it's not like a current thing that would be likely to just pop up like that.

Yeah...I think I'm going to be on the cover of Stupid Coincidence Magazine next month.  booya!
