Wow...crazy weekend.  Barely slept for days.  Got stuck in Chicago b/c the Dan Ryan's been reduced to 1 lane both east and west - took me 2.5 hours to get to get to 57.  Slept in the Monee McDonalds parking lot!  haha...yeah it was that bad.  This was after hanging out with a friend who'd been visiting Chicago from Boston.  I left around 11:30PM, and got to Monee around 2AM.  It was some incredible suckage.

Was at a CFC thing on Saturday, which was cool but a little tough on no sleep.  Sung on Sunday for the first time, which was cool.  Sung again at night b/c someone bailed or something.  Class got cancelled b/c of the tornado-esque thing that ripped through here.  no actual tornado, but I was watching some trees get blown 90-degrees from where they should have been.  Didn't have power all night and ended up going to sleep around 8PM.  Caught up on lots of sleep.

Internet still doesn't seem to be working - stealing someone's wireless right now.  Maybe I just need to restart my computer or something b/c the modem is giving all the right lights...

anyway, I'm off.  Go slow, homie.

    Ciao

  • should've stayed in manhattan...or maybe bourbonnais...mmm, bourbon

  • from Time magazine:

A chronically sleep-deprived person will often go through repeated episodes of microsleep, sometimes accompanied by microdreams (which are usually interpreted as hallucinations). If you have been up for more than 20 hours, your reflexes are roughly comparable to those of someone with a blood-alcohol level of 0.08--which in many states is enough to be considered legally drunk. You should not drive--and you most certainly should not be flying a plane--in that condition. Moreover, the effects add up. Sleeping only six hours a night for a week makes you as tired on the seventh night as if you had had no sleep at all.

    So indeed, go slow homie.

  • it's such an experience to sleep in the parking lot LOL

by the way, whats dan ryans? thats my fav. american food restaurant in hk.

  • i'd die w/o internet...lol during the summer, i barely sleep (then again, what do u have to wake up early for?)

no sleep makes you feel all groggy...same w too much sleep. x) I'm a short sleeper so if i get 6+..i feel TIRED.

  • Slow and steady wins the race.
